Protesters in London attack Prince Charles’ car. Iconic picture.
This was fucking ridiculous. Why would the Royal’s protection let them go that way? Why didn’t they think to go a different way round? and why, most of all, would students ATTACK the car that contains their countries royalty. This blatantly shows how immature some of “us” are (and I use that term loosely). I did mention to my parents earlier that those who attacked should be tried for treason, but they wouldn’t give a shit, and it would just cause more rioting. so fuck it, all I can do is complain, but no-one gives a shit, and they wont listen. I just think those students are being idiots, and rioting about stuff isn’t the way to solve it. GROW THE FUCK UP!
I give a shit. I think it’s absolutely appalling that students are acting like this. What on earth is it supposed to achieve?! I hate the fact that my peers and I, who had no part in these riots, are going to be banded together with the few idiots that handled the situation in totally the wrong way. No one is going to respect students now, no one is going to listen to us.
I agree what these students have done has brandished our age group. They not only attacked the royals but disfaced the statue of Winston Churchill - i don’t know who can think this is acceptable. He is a part of everyone’s lives. These students are making the problem worse!
